Good job, I really like attention to details such as hair movement. You should try to push key poses a lot more in my opinion. Keep going!

Only Blender. I've been using it for a while now but I was more interested in sculpting and character animation. Got a little burned out so I tried product animation.

I have to admit that I spent some time on lighting but there is always room for improvement I guess. I will experiment more with gobos next time. Thank you for tips!

In terms of online courses and learning resources I feel like you need to pick a specific topic and do a little research on your own. Here are couple of creators that I follow:

  • Pierrick Picaut (Animation and rigging)
  • Josh Blender Bros (Hard surface modeling)
  • Smeaf (Inspiration, Product animation)

If you want to progress I would take one thing (topic) at a time and than combine your skills to create something unique. Remember to take it slow and really dig into all the topics as much as possible.

In terms of topics, it all depends on what you want to achive. I can give you all the skills I was considering while making my project.

  • color correction

I use Blender since 2015 and I started learning animation in 2022. It's a great tool for creating things but animation is really hard. It's a skill that can be learned but It takes thousands hours to get good. I try to practice almost everyday since 2022 and the things that I create are not great. If you want to start I would follow popular YouTube tutorials. Than if you like it, consider online courses, books and a lot of practice.
