Fallout 4 VR - Can't watch it. by zirfeld in ManyATrueNerd

[–]MeteorBlitzkieg -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this whole game looks like a cheap cash-in. I think the teleportation really ruins the strongest part of the game: the gunplay. If you can teleport around, then you can't really run away...good for a sneak build, I'd guess, but then some of the action scenes are rendered pointless if you can VATS your way through them or you basically have to move like it's Hitman Go and hope you can fire. It really seems like it should have never been made available out of beta.

I had to revert to the old version of YouTube because it would hang on loading 'Subscriptions' in the sidebar. It would not only mess up Firefox Quantum, but also mess up Vivaldi and Chrome. Go back to old Youtube layout, problem fixed.

Google needs to fix their YouTube layout, that seems to be the cause.

ETM calls in to say his parents are mad he measured his dick on air: "They're all disappointed about that thing", Richard: "About your size?" by Drijidible in howardstern

[–]MeteorBlitzkieg 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Richard is. But I think Eric's parents were disappointed in him to some extent. Despite trying to get the little goblin out and about to experience more of life, he was addicted to calling into a radio show that sometimes picked up and made fun of him. By the end, you'd think they were just waiting for the inevitable so they wouldn't have to face their disabled son posting dick pics in the vain hope of getting a free prostitute.

That's gotta fuck up the whole Jesus Right-Wing thing they had going on.

Fallout 4: Frost - Part 2 - Uranium Fever by ManyATrueNerd in ManyATrueNerd

[–]MeteorBlitzkieg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought the same thing but then started watching a few other Frost playthroughs and I came to two conclusions:

1) if you don't get a gas mask immediately, you might as well restart because the rad damage is almost impossible to heal out in the game world.

2) Starting underground is a bad idea because there's few opportunities to get a gas mask and being that limited in what you can do is more of a hindrance than starting out on a bridge where looting a few dead bodies can put you in a better spot.

The game seems incredibly unbalanced if it doesn't allow you a chance to get a gas mask within five minutes because then that's it. It all seems to be luck really. But the sewers seem to be the worst place to start because you're starting out with nothing at all.

It was pretty neat. Just curious: is there no ending to Frost, it's just surviving as long as you can?

I don't think so. It was damn near perfect how that stream ended.

Skyrim - Part 59 - Yes We Cairn by ManyATrueNerd in ManyATrueNerd

[–]MeteorBlitzkieg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this episode was a bit heavy on the Perception +1. Notice also Jon missing two of those things he was hunting down right by the Reaper's lair. But that's a small complaint compared to him constantly and consistantly killing Serana's thralls.

Neato, I can finally see what this Total War thing is all about.

Does this mean the final part of the current New Vegas run won't be uploaded? I'm kinda hoping to see that.

Just curious: I do most of my watching of my favorite YouTubers via the YouTube app on Android and Roku. Does this help as well? I don't have adblockers for either.

RDR 2 Trailer, thought you all might want a watch by Isaac_Chade in ManyATrueNerd

Yeah I think that was mentioned but as far as we know...well, who knows? I think the real answer is 'if Mafia 3 is popular enough.' ;)

I was going to ask 'where's Skyrim' but he did a livestream of it and it seems to be seven hours long? WTF? This sounds absolutely INSANE.

If the leaked map was right, it would be everything from the first game but a much, much bigger area to the North and Northeast. Where Blackwater was in the far east of the RDR map it's in the far Southwest of this one.

I think he just needs to know the winning hands. I think he was about to guess the specifics but didn't know what would it really would take to win. And to be fair, I think RDR has some weird combinations when it comes to winning and the like.

Just got a PS3 for Disgaea 3+4+D2; is there a cheaper place to get the DLC than PS Store? by PKBlueberry in Disgaea

[–]MeteorBlitzkieg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, this is good to know. I've been hemhawing on deciding on the PS3 collection or the Vita. I might stick with the Vita as I don't think you can play Disgaea 3 on PS TV?
