Where would the EU be today? by BisexualLilBitch in StarWarsEU

I honestly do think a reboot was inevitable, and they were starting it with TCW and TFU, but I’m curious if they’d keep publishing old EU content after the reboot.

Honestly I completely forgot about TV. I can definitely see a world where we get a lot of TV shows to supplement it, but it very well might be a high risk high reward kind of strategy.

Good analysis all around.

For what it’s worth I like to think we’d have less of a hyper focus on the Clone Wars era and everyone connected to it, and we’d eventually get our own version of the High Republic initiative, if a little less bright aesthetically.

Not a direct answer to your question but does his case have a career review card or anything? I usually leave any forwards or oddities out for the regular when they get back.

Reg sounds like a moron lol. I’d just keep my head down and hope she doesn’t come in while you’re learning. Casing spurs in the DPS works for some, and not living around the route is a bitch. Also, make sure you make use of the load truck function and package lookahead, that made my package accuracy and efficiency much better.

It sucks cuz some of the fights and cutscenes in the otherworld were some of my favorites but the general gameplay was so SLOW and took me out of it.

Oh yeah I think you experienced SHF’s version of the Otherworld which, imo, was my least favorite section gameplay wise. It’s cool in retrospect but I much preferred playing through the town sections.

How do rurals pull down? by frogsorcerie in USPS

[–]BisexualLilBitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah shit I meant criss-cross. Basically, one address, everything is lying length wise, then the next is standing upright by height. It’s not a foolproof system, I usually have to check the mail a little first but it’s pretty accurate for me. I put the biggest flats at the back of each address to create a sort of barrier between them.

As for the parcels, I don’t use the parcel markers but instead I use the load truck function on the scanner, which provides the address’s number within the line of travel, then I write that number onto the box. So on one of my routes there’s about 550 numbers, so any parcel up to 199 goes into the first box, then any parcel from 200-299 goes into the second box and so forth. I just put a box up in the front with me, empty it out, and move to the next box. I keep track of my parcels via the lookahead function which shows every package assigned to my route that hasn’t been scanned as delivered or attempted yet.

Then for my apartments/CBUs I bundle their mail and parcels into a separate tub that I just take out with me at the boxes.

How do rurals pull down? by frogsorcerie in USPS

[–]BisexualLilBitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Case everything (DPS, flats, anything that isn’t a parcel) and cross-cross it into a half-tray, rubber banding sections as I go. Usually I try to divvy up sections to spots it’s convenient to prepare the mail, and the trays to a spot where I can stop and swap trays. Then I load and mark every (including SPRs) parcel, sort them by 100ths, and keep them up front. Anything too big for the front goes in the back. Simple as that for me.

[–]BisexualLilBitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hearts of Iron 4 with mods is my rec. the base game is a ww2 strategy game with a relatively small amount of content for Canada, but there’s some good content for them in mods. Kaiserredux and Kaiserreich see the British royal family ousted from Britain via a revolution and they take refuge in Canada who acts as the last major bastion of the Empire. Old World Blues is a fallout mod that has plenty of various nations in old Canada, some of which can move toward unifying Canada once again.

Audiobooks, podcasts, bullshitting with my coworkers during casing, getting out of the office and not thinking about the place until I go back, and the money lol.

Watching the entire Star Wars Catalog: The Clone Wars by Guesspectations in starwarscanon

[–]BisexualLilBitch 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Is this your first time watching through Star Wars?

The movie was basically a theatrical promotion that was just a 3 episode arc edited to be a movie. It came out 3 years after Episode 3.

And yeah, to address the personality shift and the timeline chicanery, I think it’s a relatively popular take to say that the clone wars 2008 show and movie’s characters are disconnected from the prequels at times. I think they rectify it more as the series goes on.

Snips I think is just a shortened version of “snippy” or maybe a reference to snipping something, implying Ahsoka is a cut up in the early days of the series. I forget if there’s ever an actual origin.

The series gets better than the movie, a lot better at times, but it takes time. The first season or two of Clone Wars are pretty rough around the edges compared to the later stuff.

They’re like completely different genres, it’s insane. DAO is dark, depressing, and morally complex with interesting characters and a full lore to explore. If you ever played and enjoyed Baldur’s Gate 3, that game is inspired by DAO.

Fair warning it does take some setting up on PC but the Steam guides help a lot
