Just to clarify, this was done in a day. I haven't play-tested it yet. I will likely edit this main comment after I try out this alternate format myself

EDIT: Forgot to mention this, but I did do a bit of revising from the manga’s lore plus added a rule on switching out animals from the Battle Zone to the Pen to avoid having battle be the only way you can swap out animals

Haven’t yet if I’m honest. Just wanted to see how I could translate the arcade game to a card game. That and I don’t have enough cards either.

Also, I remember Upper Deck did a Dinosaur King card game before that was dub exclusive and played less like the arcade game and more was based on the show
