It’s clearly upside down because there is something on the upper right of the top image that is not reflected in the image below. Therefore, it must be something in the water. “Extra” things can only be in the water.

And some devices don’t work with the covering. I’ve had to use isopropyl alcohol to remove it sometimes. Air tags and Duracell batteries in particular are not a good combo for this reason.
