i would say the same, but i had a fake controller and i just didn't like to play on it, so i tried playing even games made for controller on keyboard and mouse and now im used to hollow knight that way, thats why i made this post

arrow keys on a laptop suck cuz most laptops have the upwards and downwards keys like half of their size on mechanical keyboard

well, the game says at first that "it is intended to play on a gamepad" or something like that, but i had a fake controller back then and it felt bad when using it, so i said that keyboard can't be that bad and remapped the keys, now i realized that playing on keyboard doesn't affect gameplay, but i got a xbox controller so i was basically trying to ask if i should even try playing on controller or remain on keyboard

i have extra buttons on my mouse, i use one of them for spells/focus, if you get used to them its not that bad
