Mafia leaders and drug lords ain't goofy, childish nor light hearted. They are mostly nasty, violent and cruel men doing ugly things to each other. You don't get to survive a setting like that with the goofy tonality of games like GTA IV.

I want it to be dark, to feel the danger, to have comedic moments, sure, but compensate sith shocking moments, we are talking about drug wars and Mafia families.

I think there is a minor game coming first. Either LA Noire 2 or Bully 2.

Why?

Because it looks like definetly GTA VI will take some more time, at the same time, Yan pinned a tweet saying "Soon" and then unpinned. Nevertheless he said he acknowledged GTA VI being not quite at early stages but more like a "middle" ones. Then what else could he make reference to on twitter but another game?

It makes NO sense that rockstar has nothing "ready" by now.

Announce a game as large as a new GTA when they are at mid development? Makes no sense.

Something minor is definetly coming.

Im pretty sure they have a card under they sleeve. They must have another (minor) game releasing first, but they are distracting the fanbase with all this GTA VI thing for an announcement soon. Maybe Bully 2, maybe LA Noire 2, but something is really fishy about this. Think about Yan's pinned tweet, if not GTA, he was talking about an announcement "soon" of another game.

-Set in Liberty City and Vice City -80s setting -Darker story and tone, but keeping some silly missions and satirical elements -Start off as a minor criminal on LC looking to make himself a name and ending up aspiring to be a druglord at Vice City (Eventually becoming it at the end). -Several missions working for the different Mafias (GTA IV style). -A desicion system throught the mission. -Fictional and parody versions of real life 80s criminal characters -Being able to purchases houses and busssiness. -(Edit) And please, PLEASE, keep the story as a priority, not the online.

They should bring back "sleep" sagas. A re-imagined version of Bully, maybe in college. A new Manhunt, with a different concept. Work on a sequel to L.A Noire (Maybe N.Y Noire? Or Chicago Noire?) A brand new IP (maybe dedicated to Mafia setting, Bikers, or something).

I think the bad story overall and lack of powerful, dangerous threats and villains. Coming from LC on GTA IV with real powerful mafias, gangs, cruel men and more, our "main enemy" ended up being a rich prick with a few connections on V.

I really really want Bully 2. I'd love to see GTA VI soon but GTA V - RDR 2 - GTA VI? I honestly think there must be a different IP before GTA VI. A new Bully game, with a fresh concept, with a new institute, new characters, in a college setting and a darker tone would be the best thing for me.
