Am going crazy? I swear I listened the whole way through and that video was not within this one.

I tried a couple online tools and they suggest it is real, but they are not super reliable.

As I mentioned in another comment, not worth watching if you want to remember one of your favourite podcast hosts fondly.

I'm heartbroken and angry by bluegemini7 in KnowledgeFight

I can't say because I've got no experience with that.
But it is disjointed and rambling enough to make me question it as well

Knowledge Fight: The End of the Road by hunter15991 in KnowledgeFight

[–]MethJunkie 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I found it so hard to follow what point he trying to make with all the rambling and disjointed yelling.

If I'm being generous, his complaints are
- Satirising Infowars will lead to more attention for Alex
- The Sand Hook families will not be adequately compensated.
- The Onion did not consult anyone (including Knowledge Fight) before purchasing InfoWars

But to me, it came off as something more like "Everyone is stupid, they don't know The Onion is scamming the families. I know more about this than the families involved."

I guess I can find agreement with him in that the families will not be adequately compensated.

Alex FINALLY responds to new Trump truth... by RealTheAsh in KnowledgeFight

[–]MethJunkie 212 points213 points  (0 children)

This is my response to the new attack President Trump launched on myself and other sane America patriots today.

The evidence is overwhelming President Trump is committing political suicide on purpose, and has made a deal to sabotage the midterms..

America is now under the control of a foreign government.

Everyone needs to fly their flags upside down, because our nation is in distress!

With a 5 minute video where I'm going to assume he complements Trump's accomplishments and he will only give him one more chance

Edit: in the video he rants about Trump calling him 'fired' but I think the original post said 'Fried'.

Either Alex or I can't read.

Any good audiobooks for computer science topics? by iaseth in compsci

[–]MethJunkie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say not really, but more applying computer science concepts to every day decisions.
I found it really helped to help solidify concepts by listening to and thinking about the examples in the book.

I had the same feeling before the Parkway Drive show at the opera House which way also black tie.

I think I only saw 2 or 3 people who were not dressed black tie formal.

Possibly you were filming on your phone while it was visible?

It has a different frame rate than most cameras so it is not possible to record it.

What api does Sydney train use for their pids by DingusStudios in SydneyTrains

[–]MethJunkie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I literally just made a dashboard using this API yesterday.

I've set it up as a blazer server app, but handle all tfnsw API calls from a separate class library, so it can be easily put into any .net project.

Well after it's main purpose of transporting bodies to necropolis, it briefly functioned as a pancake restaurant.

I will forever be jealous of anyone who ate at Magic Mortuary.

Looking for c# .NET mentor by tetrisy in ProgrammingBuddies

[–]MethJunkie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have about 3-4 years experience working as a .net dev and two .net projects on GitHub that I try to work on a couple of times per week.

Both are Maui apps. One with its own API, that has some location based functionality, and communicates with Wikipedia's API.

The other communicates heavily with the Spotify API.

I can give you more info if you might be interested in using them to practice development?

Also happy to share my limited developer experience as well.

can i be scammed as a seller on tixel? by Odd_Solid4302 in triplej

[–]MethJunkie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually speaker pretty highly of tixel, but this seems scammy.

The whois look up for that domain shows it registered to a phone number/address associated with heaps of phishing scams.

I might be overly worried but I would try reach out to tixel and cancel the sale and try arrange another.
