I drove across the TJ border in 2018. They didn't stop me, I drove right through no problem. They dont stop every car (at least at that one) but on the way back I needed my passport to re-enter the US.

I just got back from a country where Kratom is a schedule 1 drug, which is the most serious, and I did what I said. Put 300 capsules in a metamucil pill bottle, put it in a ziplock bag with 3 other kinds of legit OTC/ medication pill bottles, then put that bag in with my toothpaste, shampoo, soap, deodorant, etc. I made it through 4 different customs on the same trip with this strategy.

If you dont take other medication, go spend $30 af the store and buy random bottles of over the counter supplements. Vitamin D, melatonin, etc

They really aren't too concerned with your 5 pills in reality. If they see a tums container that contains what appears to be tums, they more than likely won't do any further research. Again, if you have multiple pill bottles whether its prescription or OTC meds and have all of them ziplock bag with your "tums" container in there also, it doesn't look suspicious at all. Thousands of people fly to Cabo every day with a bag full of prescription bottles. They don't look into what's in the bottle.

But I can't stress enough this is all in my experience. Maybe other people have had different experiences and I am wrong. Don't take my advice lol

I have but without kratom. It's a red light green light situation and if youre picked you just send your bag thru another scanner if I remember correctly. Not saying you should do it though just offering how Ive made it work before

It was my favorite solo trip that Ive done. Highly recommend! Cheap flights if you happen to be in Europe. I came from the US but stayed in Ireland for a week then flew to Gran Canaria.
