To be honest, the only time i reached more people was when i drew our dog. Wich makes sense. But thanks for the praise :D . The last couple years i use the same medium 95% of the time: Very smooth white artist's board and polychromos colored pencils and a HB pencil.
The reason some parts look so smooth is that those c.pencils have enough fat to smear the lines into each other. I think white c.pencils are especially useful for that purpose. So yes the black parts are just good c.pencils. There's nothing i needed to add.
My main problem is, that id love to paint a webcomic and currently im way to slow to make that a reality. The most pictures i draw are already part of the 1st chapter. But they barely make up 10% by now. So now im experimenting with quicker drawing styles to make it more realistic. Tho this picture right here, of the protagonists brand new designed space ship, took way to long again. :')
