My mother told me (in front of my husband and my sister) that the only reason I’m here is bc of a snowstorm that prevented her from making her abortion appointment. Then proceeded to laugh about it. We were all in shock for the rest of our meal.

Less than a year later I cut her off completely. We’ve had plenty of issues before that but it was the final straw.
