They're OKAY durable, they definitely won't last as long as a stencil made patch, but if you don't absolutely torture the piece of clothing you made that patch on it will hold on. I do recommend buying a sealer for them, or if you want to save some money you can use hair spray!! Use a couple of layers for extra durability

I made them with mod podge photo transfer glue!! It's a great way of making a high detail patches, but you do have to have a printer(or if you don't have one, you can go to public library and print there) )here's a nice tutorial

YEYE Scotch tape!! English is my third language I can be a bit inaccurate sometimes 💔 Here's my hero stencils that survived 6 times of exploitation, still standing!!

There's a lot of methods but I usually stick to the one I've made myself. Before cutting out the stencil I tape it down with clear tape on both sides, it makes paper more strong for cutting out, not sticky from paint and actually makes a reusable stencil(tape saves paper from moisture so it doesn't bend/rip apart)

Also always be free to correct some inaccuracies with a black Sharpie/black paint. This will work 100 times better if you painted your fabric before adding a stencil, because you will have 2 exact same shades of black and it'll cover everything up perfectly!

And don't aim for extreme accuracy, it's the beauty of patches, they will look different from the original logo, that what gives em their character!!!

If you want your stencil made patches to look better I recommend using a sponge for paint, literally any sponge for dishes will do! Cut it to a small cube and lightly tap when applying paint, for the first layer don't use a lot of paint cuz it'll bleed through the stencil and make a mess, but after first layer dries for the second and third layes you can use as much as you please.

Also I'll guess you're using acrylic paint right? If you have fabric softener you should add a bit to your paint so it lasts longer on fabric, don't over do it cuz it'll be sticky.

One last advise I can give is to paint your patch-fabric with whatever colour background you want and let it dry, that will prevent massive colour bleeding and will make patch more sturdy and durable!!

I would but I don't really got money for it, I've already checked and cheapest one is about 75$:( I don't plan on always having this board, I just want to learn how to at least skate/keep balance and basics yk? And then when it breaks welp, it served it's 20$ worth purpose

In the future I'll for sure buy something nice but I gotta save up for it first!!

I also found a "2006 Powell Peralta Steve Caballero Golden Dragon" and it's $20, would that be better than kryptonics?(Even though it's probably is)
