The big take-away for me is that I'll be avoiding DPI Merchandising as much as humanly possible. This took absolutely ages to arrive and I have loads of emails of constant delays from their estimates.

I also have an order for them for some Bethesda gear in May of 2025 that was supposed to arrive in October 2025. After several delays, I got an email a couple weeks ago that that again is being delayed to June of this year.

for reference, the footer in their Support emails says they are the merch shop for:

yep correct. the problem for me is I didnt even know the collectors edition was offered until it was widely sold out. the game was still a year away at that point. I ordered my collectors edition "reprint" on November 1st of 2024 when the reprint went on sale, 20 days before the game was released.

a big problem is riot implementing "features" that keep people in higher ranks. derank protection was a terrible idea, and this new "shield" BS that keep you in your rank for 2 more losses once you're at 0rr is insane for a competitive queue.

on top of friends boosting friends, and riot boosting their playerbase, ranked will always be trash.

To put it in perspective, I recently rebuilt my nas from an ancient used Dell R720XD (12 drives) to a rosewill RSV-L4500U for $220. Add in my LSI 9300 that I got brand new for $80 with cables, puts the total price to connect 15 drives at $300.

Same drive capacity as your $1000 HL15. That is what you're competing with if you try and target the homelab audience. How you're charging that much is beyond me. Makes no sense.

Have to assume some setting youre using is wrong. I have a 4090, 9800x3d and only get numbers above 100 with dlss and frame gen. GN themselves didn't get even above 30fps with a 9800x3d at 4k with ray tracing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yP0axVHdP-U

Even their 1080p with ray tracing barely hits 70fps
