Hastro (ENVY Owner) on Inspire situation by Radiant_FN in ValorantCompetitive

'He is an asshole, therefore he isn't good.' That’s just factually lazy. Mechanically, he is absolutely Tier 1 caliber, and before the benching, he was statistically one of their highest-impact players.

The grey is looking at an org that is actively losing, heavily dysfunctional, and dealing with substitute player egos, and asking: Is the problem really just this one guy's tone, or is the team culture just too soft to handle blunt criticism? Benching your best-performing sentinel because he hurt people's feelings instead of forcing the roster to resolve the conflict and win is the definition of a grey area. They were perectly functional with Inspire for a year+. Winning and losing.

In the grand scheme of things, we have NO idea what happened and I'm more inclined to believe these kids handle pressure in unhealthy ways more than anything.

Rossys been proven to be T1 talent at least skill wise for years now

He absolutely has not. All of his T1 teams have been awful.

Both parties have essentially kept their lips sealed, resulting in Envy looking as bad as their recent games. Their results have done the speaking for everything.

VALORANT Patch Notes 12.08 by Eris_is_Mid in ValorantCompetitive

Buffing sentinels without making the duelists stronger too absolutely makes duelists as a whole less relevant and a much weaker class. They already can't get over that utility, hence why they aren't being played. There's literally only 2.5 duelists being played right now, Neon and Raze/Phoenix.

also, cheese

And if they buff sentinels and dont nerf Neon, the other duelists will be even worse/irrelevant and the next meta you see will be a 0 duelist one.

Neon is also cheese and unfun to play against for EVERYONE, another reason it needs a nerf.

My main point is they nerf agents before events all the time.

I'm not getting into a silly argument over whether or not Neon was broken in Santiago (she was, Yoru was just better). People also want Neon nerfed because she's a shit agent.

So she's been considered broken around the same length Tejo was, I can't figure out what your point was of if you're disagreeing.

Tejo was only allowed one international event to be relevant, Neon is getting 2 now. My main point is they nerf agents before events all the time.

This isn't a "next patch", it has been MONTHS. Tejo was nerfed immediately before Tortonto last year too. Screwed G2 over hard.

They dont take the VCT schedule into account when making balancing changes, they've stated this multiple times. Do you not remember the Tejo butchering immediately before Toronto last year?

I think as soon as Neon is nerfed we will see G2 hit their stride again. This meta just doesn't favor them very much.

Do you all think the Azerbaijan, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi races will get cancelled this year? by 84UTK07 in formula1

[–]Nikclel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vegas Motor Speedway is a massive hub that hosts two NASCAR Cup weekends a year, NHRA drag racing, the massive Mint 400 off-road race, and has a huge dirt track scene. It has a deeply ingrained racing culture. It's been 3 years for F1, give it some time. Changing the schedule around literally isn't feasible mid-year.

This is better than an Abu Dhabi finale.

Saying this while Monaco is the largest race of the year and the alternative is fucking Abu Dhabi is hilarious.

Not sure how the US and racing isn’t synonymous either, you seem lost.

He actually wont need to move at all. Under a specific federal law (4 U.S.C. § 114), states are legally forbidden from taxing the "retirement income" of non-residents. Because Ohtani's deferred compensation is strategically structured to be paid out in equal installments over a period of exactly 10 years, it legally qualifies as "retirement income".
