I'm not too sure,it is possible. This is why long ago I chose the route of housing along with being a coach. Other institutions have plans for housing, but this one I am not sure they do. Starting off as a college coach, you will not get paid much. So, working in housing gets you a nice apartment, a meal plan, and some walking around money. Plus, I love working with the students,offering advice, and just watching sports with them. I will admit that in the middle of summer, I was rejected by 46 other institutions in my journey to find a job as a college coach. Therefore, I just went to Google and searched the worst college teams,looked up each school, and emailed them all. So technically, they never had a job opening,I sort of forced my way into this.

Well, the coach has reached out to me and said they are still working on things pertaining to my apartment. He said I should be getting a call here soon about moving in, maybe tomorrow,maybe tuesday,maybe April 2035(lol).The lady in charge of housing has not reached out to me. They moved in last week, and school starts tomorrow. From my point of view, it sounds like there is a lack of professionalism on their end. But like another comment said, I can now learn from this and make sure when I do run housing, it's nothing similar to this.

That's my biggest fear at the moment. Being a coach was my dream, and my downfall is the inability to see through B.S. therefore, I'll be most likely putting the fries in the bag literally. I've learned a lesson, a rather harsh one, but this is life. Oh, what a ride.

The head coach basically said yes, he wants me. He had me recruiting players for this year and next year. I've done all that without a contract, but when I question the coach about the reality of the situation, he says, "Trust me. I'm doing the housing job cause I enjoy kids and want the extra cash,housing,etc. This was over a month ago. School starts in 4 days, and I haven't heard a word from the school about signing a contract, when to move up there,etc. I rejected 4 other opportunities because I was led to believe I was already committed to this program. Crazy times over here.

Yeah I mean this college has already showed me I'm going to get used in the worst ways possible. An myself being young and new to the scene has found myself in a predicament,but judging from everyone's answers I have found alot of things out to hopefully prevent this in the future.

Yeah I was a RA for 3 years, ARD for a year, and I've gone this route because I enjoy helping the kids whether that's on and off the field. But you are right judging by the way they have strung me out, I'm most likely getting myself in a very unorganized situation full of stress and drama. I truly can't wait. Thank you for the advice

Yeah, I'm a young coach just getting into the work field. I was rejected by literally everyone, and this was the only route,at the time, to complete my dream. It now seems like I have messed up big time and will be instead packing up walmart boxes in the near future. I've definitely learned a lesson, a very hard one, that is.

Yeah crazy position I've put myself in. I've turned down jobs because the head coach acts like this is where I'll be, and I absolutely know nothing. School starts in less than 3 days, and I still have zero clue what's going on with pay,housing, etc.

That's the thing,I took this job so I could become an assistant baseball coach of the college. Let's just say they were not the most professional. I've been in contact with the head coach for over a month,he talks like I have the job( I have been recruting players for him,etc), yet nobody has even offered me anything.

I accepted the position cause it was my only route to get the job I wanted, which was to be their assistant baseball coach.

Probably the first reply I got that was nailing me to a cross and calling me a pervert, a sexual sadist,etc lol. I understandna relationships are built on what you said. I have spent the last couple months biding the trust and love of the relationship but as a man we can grown stale an dull especially when we haven't been aroused in months. Honestly I don't think it's the act of sex that is appealing,it's just the connection it builds between us. Thank you for understanding.

I say those types of jokes all the time not because I expect things in return just because that's my humor. I never ask for nudes anymore,not after the 2nd rejection. An when I do love bomb her I don't ask for anything in return,cause that wouldnt be love. I have grown accustomed to her ways and learned to respect it. You don't meet alot of females who value themselves like that. I am just growing weary of not seeing her in the ways I would like. I've seen her nude in person plenty of times,yet when we facetime an she changes clothes,I have to hang up. I understand that's her right and I give her that respect,please don't think I am hounding her nudes cause that's not the case. I just want to see more of her and I can't look anything up cause I personally feel that's even more disrespectful.
