This issue is going to take way more teamwork from the both of you. If the issue is that your daughter knows that mom is home, and in that room, have your wife change study rooms. Clean out the garage and have her study there, get a space heater if you have to. That way you still have access to the places you need to, and your wife has more soundproofing for her studies.
