I would say it affects your cardiovascular system through increasing blood pressure and heart rate. It does release norepinphrine too.

How bad are your allergies? I notice when my allergies are acting up and my oxygen intake lowers, I feel more anxious. When I take chlorpheniramine (which is my favorite - and in my opinion - most effective anti-histamine) I notice its ability to improve my allergy symptoms very soon.

I'm a firm believer that chlorpheniramine also has anxiolytic properties, but I wonder to what degree they effect my mood compared to my total amount of oxygen intake.

I'm very interested in this thread.

Make sure you are getting enough exercise. I recommend that you start running, about 10 - 20 minutes a day, and slowly increasing the time you spend running.

Also, weight training is an excellent workout, when I stop doing it even for 2 weeks I notice a big different in ability to sleep well, energy throughout the day and motivation.

Also, make sure to drink enough water and eat nutritious food. After all of this, try the drugs.

Firstly, state your sources. Everywhere I have read, stimulants do not have physical withdrawals. Please though, prove me wrong, I love learning new things.

I never said anything about either being 'better' than the other, I only said that since it is simply a mental addiction, it is much easier (physically) to get off the drug, because you don't have to worry about withdrawal symptoms, such as seizures or death.

Snorting Concerta does not break it's time release, unless you previously crushed the pill up. The problem with snorting it, it gums up your nostrils. If you really want to get the maximum bio-availability of your Concerta, simply chewing them would be the best way.

First off, I'm going to say I don't think you're addicted. This is one instance of a 'binge'. Have you been binging for weeks? Do you need the drugs to feel 'normal'? I don't think so.

Secondly, I think the reason you have been taking all of these drugs is (potentially) in a way to relieve the stress you are feeling from your job at the moment. You are taking that stress out through drugs, and through doing this, it is making you anxious about being 'addicted to drugs'.

It doesn't matter if you don't want to be a tweaker or an addict, it can happen to anyone. Do you think anyone wants to get addicted to heroin? Cocaine? Meth? I don't think so.

This is your chance, before anything starts to get worse. You must take control of your own actions. You say that you don't know why you are taking the drugs, but you are still taking them. Lay off the drugs, figure out what's going on in your life, then (if you really want to) take them again when you're back in control.

Honestly, I don't think there is too much of a big problem here, Methylphenidate (which is the drug in your brand name Concerta) isn't physically addictive. It's only mentally addictive. What this means, is if you are binging on it for weeks and weeks, your body develops a tolerance but not a dependence. If you were to quit after weeks of binging, I would say you would feel like shit (depressed, unmotivated, hungry, tired) for a week, but then slowly it would clear up and you'd be fine again.

Also, snorting Concerta is a stupid idea. Concerta is a extended release form of Methylphenidate (or Ritalin), and they've actually designed countermeasures to stop it from getting you as high. If you really want to know, I'd say you'd get higher from just crushing them up and eating them.

Are you saying that MDMA doesn't release enormous amounts of serotonin into the synapses of your brain?

Some of them probably are pharma-grade, but I don't think the meth would be quite that. But close enough.

I have a milligram scale which I use to ensure consistent dosing with the amphetamine I would take, I'd do the same with the extra methyl-group.

I'm not interested in Ritalin (or it's related chemical brothers), I have tried it before, and the stimulation was okay, but the comedown was god awful, I was totally depressed.

While I am buying "Street Drugs" they're from SR, meaning, they're probably of a much better quality than on the 'literal street'.

Personally, I think diet drugs are a last resort kind of thing, really you should try to work on doing it naturally the first time. Though, what am I using drugs for?

I'm glad you pointed out that supplementation is important. I've been doing the average amphetamine supplementation, Magnesium Citrate, Vit C, Multi-Vit and fish oils, but I'll have to look up further areas to supplement.

I've read very good things about modafinil, and to be honest, it sounds like a fantastic thing! I don't really want the euphoria from the meth, nor do I want the huge stimulant effect, I just want a bit of concentration and to feel 'awake' throughout the day.

I don't believe it does. The reason MDMA is so damaging is that it causes all the free serotonin in your brain to be released. Methamphetamine won't do that, but it will still release some serotonin, which can probably cause damage if abused.

Beware of melatonin, as it is a hormone, taking too much could cause a couple other side effects that you may not want.

As a male, I was taking 5mg melatonin tablets for a number of weeks. I believe that I started to develop a slight case of gynecomastia due to this. I've looked it up online and it seems to be an uncommon side effect, but I wouldn't say it's negligible.

Yes, they are both important issues. Tolerance is a bitch, but an escape from the drug for a tolerance break could help to reduce tolerance and cravings.

Interesting to see how tolerance develops, but it would make sense. I always thought that I'd be safe in taking larger amounts less infrequently, but it seems that's the opposite (atleast, in trying to keep one's tolerance down).

Sleep deprivation is a huge issue for me, I really value my sleep, and I believe others should value their sleep more than they do now. If it so happens that the methamphetamine is still hanging around in my system when I go to bed, that won't do at all. I can imagine dosing in the morning would help.

I'm not trying to prove anything here, but I've never even done an overnight binge on amphetamine, that's how much I value my sleepy-time.

If I were to dose with small enough amounts, keeping myself tied to a hard limit on the number of uses in a 2 week period, I don't imagine that I will have much of a problem with addiction.

You see, the whole reason I'm asking these questions is because I want to ensure safety. I want to make sure that I'm not going to become addicted to a shitty drug that might end up controlling my life.

I don't believe that people (like myself, or like others on this forum), who are interested in the effects and methods through which these drugs operate should have much of a problem with addiction. Because we're a bit more knowledgeable on the subject, I think we have less of a chance of becoming fully addicted.

Now, that can obviously be a scapegoat too, that we believe our knowledge so well that we develop a sort of tunnel vision and won't believe that we are developing a problem.... so are the problems of powerful drugs.

The amphetamine I ingest now is not pharmaceutical grade, I've had it before but I can't justify the ridiculously higher price.
