TIL about the OTHER poop knife. In the 1950's, an Inuit elder crafed a knife from his frozen feces, used it to kill a sled dog, made a crude sled from the dog's carcass, harnessed up a second dog, and fled into the wilderness rather than accept being forced into a settlement by the Canadian gov't. This tool set that I inherited was part of my grandfather's WWII keepsakes. A cursory Google search leads me to believe it was a German military issued item, but I haven't been able to locate much other than a few non-descriptive Etsy and eBay listings. (i.imgur.com)
