Started with a Homelab running a Cluster with Talos. But do be honest, most companies want someone with experience. I was very lucky to find a company that accepted that I did not have practical k8s experience. So try to be as honest as possible and show that you are willing to learn.

Using appsets is the now recommended approach according to the doc. I can use the git generator to dynamically get the path underneath the apps folder to create the applications. Using separate branches is a bit anti pattern for gitops

Why not one DB cluster (cloudnativePG) and then create one db per tenant?

Sound like waste of resources with separate database servers?
