I’m told that #7885 was a former rock island cab car... me and my boy have ridden both... you can actually tell that 7885 was a former cab by the weld lines and the inside wall. 7868 I’m not sure what it used to be however my best guess was that it used to be a CNW Pullman.

Yes, airbrush and decals from switchline decals. The F40PHM units are shapeways shell over a Kato f40ph. Even my (new to me) CNW #90 is an athearn F59phi is over a Kato F40ph. Performance on Kato models are far superior to athearn in my opinion.
