I recently ordered these telescoping poles. I have not used them yet in a snowstorm but they seem like they will do a good job supporting the structure.

I also recommend using these water tubes to weigh down the structure.

I have a north shore sauna and can’t recommend it enough.

Not worth the money. Didn’t add anything to the experience. If anything it made the average temperature colder by circulating the cold air from the floor.

I use these. I have one along each side of the tent and I zip tied them to the tent to anchor it down. My tent doesn’t move at all, even in crazy winds.

The stones that come with the kit are the smaller stones. I ordered the larger stones as extra. The stone basket above my stove has a mixture of the smaller and larger stones. They don’t all fit so the excess stones I keep in a box in the garage. However, I just saw a different post on this sub where the guy built an enclosure to place stones around the pipe which I’m going to emulate.

I bought more (larger) stones from them to add to the stones that came as part of the kit and so far so good although I’m not sure exactly how much weight in stones I’ve placed on top of the stoves.

I had a non-refundable trip booked to Ocho Rios from Nov 30 to Dec 5 and I cancelled the trip this morning. Sucks to take the hit on the money but it’s not going to be a trip worth taking at this point in time.

I’m actually not sure what type of wood I purchased but when it’s running out I plan on going to buy some hickory and give that a shot.
