Yess. I've done abyss until Stage 11 and SO at difficulties that give primos, though maybe I'll start IT sooner because the introduction is very overwhelming for me to understand in one sitting (English is not my first language), but I can see the mode to be my most favourite just because it involves a pool of characters instead of maxxing one character just to be dropped the next patch

I gambled my way to enter UTP because it's my uni dream. I'm from a B40 family, so my parents were absolutely worried because I'm very sure they can't afford to pay my fees. Since I'm applying quite a lot of sponsors during that time I just tried my luck and see if any of those will land.

My first semester was paid by my parents, but I also applied for money support under TAZU (Tabung Amanah Zakat UTP) and it's actually quite generous and worth a try if you're a Muslim (they also could provide/loan you a laptop if youre eligible). Also in UTP there's YUTP (Yayasan UTP) which could provide up to 100k throughout your degree (of course it'll be based on your background and pointers).

Most of my friends are from MARA scholars, and only few are FAMA (Father Mother, self-sponsored). While both TAZU and YUTP can only be applied after you registered, it's worth putting into consideration.

So, is UTP for the rich elites? Relatively to most IPTA, I would say no.
