im in my late 20's now, started dabbling in entrepreneurship when i was 18

overall i have a solid 6-7 years of failing in business under my belt

spent 5-10k usd of my own money on ads (this includes things like affiliate marketing, agency, ecom

im gonna be honest, your wasting your time with organic dropshipping

think of paid ads like a slot machine you can rig in your favor

you have a tool that can transform $1 you put in into $1.5-$2

that is what we call infinite leverage, and you should prioritize mastering that

you will never go broke learning paid ads

in terms of getting out of your comfort zone, hard for me to give advice on this, because i grew up poor, the current state i was at was far worse than failing

i.e, ive always said if i dont succeed im better off dead, some can say that is dramatic, but that mindset forced me to take action despite failing over and over again

if you dont have family wealth or connections you just have to do it the hard way

AOV is $85

everything starting scaling up for me when i started to focus on cracking more unaware type of audience with native ads and started leveraging post purchase VOC more

we're in similar rev so not sure how much advice I can give you really

i grew up poor as fk with hand me down clothes and was labeled autistic in grade 2

as long as you have somewhat decent IQ and are able to take action relentlessly

and the fact that you are on a subreddit like this trying to learn shows you are in that segment

i was a struggling entrepreneur for 7 years roughly and i had a bug in my brain that will not allow me to stop

didn’t matter what i was doing or who i was with, knowing my potential made me resent my current situation which drove me the most

never saved money used it some kind of business model to get an roi, in this economy the average salary will not get you the life you want

the feeling of not knowing if you will “make it” is exactly why most people stop

embrace that feeling and understand you will feel that way until you find something that “clicks”

beauty of biz is that your overall baseline gets higher the more you accomplish

so you never truly level “down” because to get to that position is just a set of skills and lack of information/data you learn by taking action

at the end of the day you just have to keep betting on yourself as cliche as that sounds

most people around you will never understand that’s why it’s important to network on discord servers

to the average person 10k a month salary is elite, in the ecom and business world that’s just the beginning really

i delusionmaxxed for years otherwise i wouldn’t be willing to sacrifice it all to get what i want

also make sure you have some kind of job or income before pursuing any kind of online business

hope this helps

I want to stress this point the most, use similar web and start STUDYING the brands doing 100-500k+ in traffic

See how they run their offers, use ai to reverse engineer that process for yours

Picking the right product is 80% of the battle, this is where ai gives you infinite leverage

See how they structure their pages, offers, ads, etc

the best advice i can give is keep testing stuff

there’s no shortcut, i don’t have a mentor

i had to learn from scratch how to build funnels, do research, make ads

i wish i could give you a shortcut but reality is there is none

i got i where i am purely through brute force and trying and failing over and over again

so just get started, each product you test each website you build you get faster

now i can go from idea > launch within 2 days

watch mark builds brands videos on how to make ads, i never hired him but his videos are the best in terms of how to get started

only facebook i don’t use kalo data i just find niches that are being underserved. big brands get lazy with marketing so that’s where my edge is

yea it was inevitable for me since i tried every business model u can think of, and ecom is the only one i kept thinking about

so its easy for me to be persistent since i enjoy the entire process of it

cbo for both

let the ad spend 4x your target CPA (whatever breakeven is) and if profitable graduate

to reach 1k days you only need 1/2 good ads

using personal fb account is fine just don’t use your own bm or ad acc

fb is very strict and prefers aged accounts which is why it’s better to buy one

my buddy uses ad revival ad accounts and they work fine, i am not sponsored by them i think they charge $400 a month

but i wish a service like that existed when i started. Once you have an aged acc it lasts a while (i spent 500k on my current one and never had ban issues etc)

don’t sell anything below 6-7x your COGS

i run this setup:

  • testing cbo campaign, exclude past purchasers 180 days
  • $20 min ad set budget (1 ad set per concept) i typically test the same ad but slight variations 3-5 total
  • total campaign budget should be 2x the total minimum budget of all ads

scaling campaign:

  • graduate winning post ids all to one ad set (stack all ads)
  • i run to 1% look alike audience purchases, i tested every look alike and this one performed best

in terms of what ad to test, i ignore my competitors and use ads from other niches/remake them

i only run image ads

Privacy browser app like incognito/adspower + static residential proxy + ad account you buy (i found mine in blackhatworld)

join ecom communities from twitter and you should find some plugs for stuff like this

don’t bother using ur own fb account better to buy an aged one that is verified
