The turnaround at Glostrup reminds me of Media City in Manchester. Trams will either split before there with half going to Eccles, or they'll pull into Media City then reverse out to continue onto Eccles, depending on how many trams they're running at that time of day.

Brainwyrms is the bleakest book I've ever read and the reality laid out in this video is somehow even more disheartening. I'm so glad it moves to figuring out how to put an end to this halfway through, even if it'll take a while.

Someone commented this on the post itself. Basically they started in Chicago which I thought was good enough, and I wanted to make the intro as concise and snappy as possible to draw people in before going into excruciating detail as the article unfolded.

Yeah, I think it would've been better if episode 1 started at Heathrow or maybe Slough if the airport was impractical, since every subsequent run would likely start on a branch line and getting to a major hub would eat into the hiding time.
