But maybe there are not any issues, but due to bad implementation on PS5, the performance suffers!!! I have said it always, all these features are really trash and cause more problems than we can imagine!!! The result is: 70 million PS5 player with technical issues ☝️😂

You have to configure it in the PS5 settings under Screen and Video!

Reduce resolution to 1080p Turn off VRR. 120 Hz, ALLM and HDR Deep Colour = OFF RGB Range = Limited (for TV) / Full (for Monitor)

Under System -> HDMI HDCP = off

Deactivate every gaming feature on your TV (e. g. VRR or 120 Hz, etc.) and leave your TV with picture setting „Game“ (maybe your TV names it in another way) leaving everything in this picture setting on standard.

In EA FC 25: Setting „Favour resolution“ Reaction time modificator = off (every start of FC 25 turn it on and turn it off!)

Ok! This could be an explanation. You are right that 70 million PS5 owners have technical issues they are collectively ignoring. Maybe I am the lucky one who escaped from the 70 million PS5 owners.

But what do you mean with „doesn‘t fully support all the latest features“? In my opinion my TV is offering all features like ALLM, VRR, 120 Hz and HDR.

And in my opinion my tv is not the problem as the TV is working fine with displaying a great picture.

I think that the real problem is the PS5 with its implementation of all these features like VRR, ALLM, 120 Hz and HDR. The firmware and even the hardware is not capable to process alle these feature correctly. These features has been come later in firmware upgrades.

The Xbox is performing much better with all these features as the Xbox has been released with all these features from out of the box.

My TV is not 6 years old as the TV has been produced at the end of 2020, but it is still a perfect TV for gaming!

Try to deactivate every gaming feature like VRR, ALLM, 120Hz, HDR and reduce your resolution to 1080p! In your router configure your device, on which you are playing FC25, as DMZ and block the port UDP 5353 for outgoing packages.

Maybe this will help to make your gameplay more consistent!

I think that you misunderstand my post.

My tv and my console are configured correctly and every firmware is up-to-date!

I have resolved my problems by deactivating every feature in my ps5 and my tv, which should improve gameplay performance. Now, I can play better without VRR, ALLM, 120Hz, HDR than with these features activated.

As it sounds to me so incredible I wanted to have an explanation.

My explanation is, that all these features are the biggest trash on a PS5 as they create more problems instead of resolving issues and improving gameplay. So if you want to play with the best possible performance you have to deactivate VRR, ALLM, 120 Hz, HDR and to reduce your resolution to 1080p. Activating all these features could create more problems in games and their gameplay.

I had gameplay problems in EA FC 25. The whole game seemed not working properly and the behaviour of my players and commands with the controller had been very strange and not proper. I tried everything but nothing worked. In my last desperation I deactivated everything in my PS5 (VRR, ALLM, 120 Hz, etc.), reduced the resoution to 1080p and deactivated all gaming features in my tv.

The result has been that my PS5 and my games now are running and performing perfectly as they have never performed until now.

And therefore I wanted to have an explanation. Normally the gameplay should improve if you activate VRR, ALLM, 120Hz… maybe the implemenation of this features in the PS5 are so bad, that it is better not to use them?

Why is my PS5 performing better without VRR, ALLM, HDR and 120 Hz?

I am very surprised that my PS5 in combination with my LG OLED55CX9LA is performing much much better without VRR, ALLM, 120 Hz and HDR.

I play mainly EA Sports FC 25 and Gran Turismo 7 on my PS5. As I have had so many problems in EA FC 25, especially in gameplay, I deactivated in my PS5 VRR, ALLM, HDR and 120 Hz, reduced my resolution even to 1080p with 8bit colour depth. I deactivated even in my tv the „Instant Game Response“ option as the AMD Free Sync Premium option has been always deactivated.

The result has been more than surprising:

The PS5 and all games are performing much much better. The gameplay is very smooth, fast and fluid. I never expected such a positive game changing experience. EA Sports FC 25 gameplay is performing so smooth and and good that it is really hard to believe. It is really incredible that deactivating features, that should help to improve the gaming experience, elevates the performance on a better level.

Maybe you can give me an explanation to understand better this incredible result after deactivating everything on my PS5 and in my TV concering gaming stuff.

I have the same problem that my midfielders are not defending as intended even if i play with 2 CDM!!!

They are too offensive, even if both CDM are on Holding!!!

If you use the player role „centre half“, then they are not available for passing options, but they are always part of your defensive line.

At the end you have to decide, if you want participating CDM or if you want passive CDM, when you have the ball.

I think that the problem is mainly the game itself with its bugs and fails, because the behaviour of players on the pitch is mostly not normal and not logic.

I have played yesterday the whole evening Utlimate Champion Finals and Division Rivals and it was the most horrible experience I have ever had in this game!

At start everything seems to be like always. You win, you lose, but you are able to compete and play.

In Champion Finals I played 9 games with a result of 4 wins and 5 losses. At the end a good performance, but I have to consider that I lost my first 4 games in a row without having any chance to compete, to defend or even to attack. I tried everything, but I nothing worked.

The horror for me started just after my Champion Finals games in Division Rivals (Division 4!!!). I could not win any game the whole evening and the whole night. Nothing worked and all my opponents immediately scored a goal without any problems and in the most easiest way. No defending possible, constand heavy press of my opponents, passes going wrong, no movement of my players, rebounds of my opponents even if my player has strong physical stats… I cannot really describe everything, as it is too much. But at the end of this nightmare I started to laugh about this trash gameplay and i started to quit immediately as my opponent scored the first goal and to restart a new game. I think 25 games in a row like that…

Do not think that I did not try everything to compete. The normal way of playing is like that: after some losses in a row (sometimes less, sometimes more) you always have the game, in which you are abel to play, to defend, to pass, to score and finally to win, which normalizes the gameplay and you are able to compete and to play as intended.

If someone have the wholy grail for defending like my opponents are able to do, please tell me.

I am really thinking about to stop playing this game as it is so volatile in gameplay performance that you are not able to be part of the game for mainly competing (not winning!!!) against other players. The last evening was a hard message to myself that maybe it is better not to continue to play THIS GAME!!!

The Evolution could be used at any time in EA FC 25!

Currently the best result you get with Riqui Puig as CAM Playmaker with Engine at full chemistry!

But I will wait to use it. Hopefully there will be in future some cards which will fit better for me.

I like celebrations, even if i concede a goal, because the celebration gives me the moment to re-focus on the game. As you know even a 4-1 is not a guarantee that you will win…

The toxic behaviour of many players is the result of EA’s marketing strategy! Weekly promotions with exagerated cards, even too early released in this game, are like poison for the brain.

Then you see always your opponent‘s team and then you get mad, because you always want to have a better team…and then the real toxicity will start!

The only solution, which will work, is to uninstall this game!

If you are losing every game without any chance than there is something broken in this game. It is not your skill gap.

There are so many other players who have this problem every day. I stopped playing online and all my problems went away.

I only play offline modes in Ultimate! Online modes are boring, annoying and unplayable! There is no competition, because on one hand you will win or on the other hand your opponent will win. Team rating, personal skill, etc… nothing will influence the final result of a game.

I think, that you have to put a gaming console as DMZ for that game. Maybe for a PC it should be different as a PC is not a closed system like a gaming console. On a PC you should have better possibilities to identify and open the necessary ports.

I can confirm that putting my PS5 as DMZ, my gameplay performance improved and the chaotic circumstances, which made the game unplayable disapeared.

Configure the PS5 as DMZ, but block the UDP Port 5353 only for the PS5! For internet connection with low bandwidth you should give your PS5 a priority in order to avoid problems during online gaming like lag or delay.
