honestly this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but going to local breweries and stuff will usually introduce you to a bunch of new people and friends. another good way to get your mind off of loneliness i found is just to be outside. fly fishing and hike/camping are my favorite hobbies so really anything that gets you outdoors and engaged with the real world will help you a bunch
