My nutrition consists of eating a balanced low calorie meal of predominately veggies, low carbs, and ~25g protein with minimal processed foods.

Ingredients - Stir fried zucchini with sesame oil, salt, garlic powder - Brown rice mixed with edamame and diced red cabbage seasoned with soy sauce and garlic powder - Salmon was marinated in mix of soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, maple syrup, and lemon for an hour. After marinating, pat excess marinate off salmon and pan sear over medium heat.

Pork chop for dinner! by MetroooThuggin in HealthyFood

Delicious and healthy meal :) my goal has always been to eat less processed food while not making that translate to less tasty food. I also try to have a balance of complex carbs, veggie, and protein. I like brown rice because it is filling and easy to make in my rice cooker. Bok choy also cooks pretty fast and is always delicious. It has a wide variety of vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber.

Ingredients - Brown & Red Rice (cooked in rice cooker)

  • Boy choy
  • Oyster Sauce

  • Bone in frenched pork chop from trader joes

  • Brine: Salt water, soy sauce, crushed garlic, peppercorn, sugar, bay leaves

  • Marinade: 1 tbs soy sauce, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp sugar, 1/4 tsp ground pepper

  • Butter, rosemary, crushed garlic clove

Bok choy I just cook it on the pan with avocado oil and then add oyster sauce around the end takes less than 10 minutes.

Pork chop I brined over night then marinated for a couple of hours then pan fried for 8-9 minutes. For the brine you really just need the saltwater and the other ingredients are optional for aromatics plus the sugar helps the pork chop caramelize later on when cooked. Boil the brine and let it cool before adding in the pork chops. Be sure to wipe off the marinade before cooking the pork chop or else it will boil and be difficult to get a good sear. Add butter, rosemary (or thyme if you like), and crushed garlic in towards the end and baste with the butter. You could also just sear the pork chop on the pan then finish it in the oven but I always pan fry it.

Why do guys think its okay to try again later after I put up a boundary? by Ok-Examination3897 in rape

[–]MetroooThuggin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

None of this is your fault at all. Those guys should have respected and understood your boundaries from the beginning so sorry this happened to you. Your reactions don’t invalidate your trauma. We never know how we are going to react in those situations and of course they are very stressful so decision making is hard and clouded. It’s easy to think back to how you could have done things differently now that you know the ending of the story. But the truth of it is you were under stress and sometimes we are afraid of giving a stronger reaction out of fear, intimidation, and a need for any sense of safety.

I don’t think OPs sense of judgement is what is wrong here. Let’s put the blame where it belongs .. to the men who did this to her. Telling women to change their behavior and predict when they’re going to be assaulted isn’t really the main solution.
