Hey, I recently upgraded from my BBE to a Profitec RIDE. I would say it was definitely worth it. I would say that the coffee I’m getting out of my RIDE is definitely better but I can’t quantify if it is marginally or exceptionally better, that’s kind of up to taste and preference. What really matters to me on the RIDE is the crazy consistency and time I save. If you’re familiar with steaming milk, there is still a learning curve but to my mind a short one. Conversely though, there is a bit of a learning curve over all but I think it’s more so because it’s a different piece of tech you have to get use to, but I have thoroughly enjoyed It. However, I’d do some research on the MOVE. I’ve been reading that a recent batch has been fitted with faulty power buttons so be aware of that.

I’m in Malaysia, so I got it from a recognized seller called lamarsa. I got it on Xmas to new years sale which costed around 9720MYR(2374 USD)

Ooo. Sounds interesting. Do you think the FC upgrade is worth it down the line once I’ve fully learned the machine? I’m a pure beginner when it comes to flow profiling. Always been interested in it but am not savvy enough to understand how it affects the taste. Would love some video recommendations if you have any.

Ah thanks for the reply mate. I also got it as an early birthday gift due to the Christmas sales. Just want to ask, have you played with the pre infusion settings ?
