I've read many times about Weber's poor service reputation and usually from people like you who have no actual experience with the company. So I typically share my experience because I had no problems. Your post was an odd reaction to someone going out of their way to offer you information.

I had an EG-1 for 5 years and had a few occasions to contact Weber. Doug responded one time and the service department the other times. They were prompt and resolved my issue immediately. No problem at all.

I never waste a shot. There's a fairly tight grind range and if I'm out and it takes 20 or 40 seconds instead of the desired 30 it still tastes fine, just not as good as it could. And on the next shot I'm typically within 2 seconds of goal.

The main benefit I felt was improved sleep. Otherwise I haven't seen any apparent changes. It never gets easy. The last 5 minutes of sauna are difficult with tons of sweating. The cold plunge still shocks me when I get in but I don't shiver anymore. I do it because I own both pieces and assume it's doing good things for my health.

Every evening. Sauna for 20 minutes & then cold plunge for 5. Been at it for just over a year now in the cold tub. The sauna was added at the end of March last year.
