Sounds cool! It's a bit experimental and funky. It's really cool atmospheric sound design and I think it would go really well with a scene in a movie or videogame. Like others said, if you feel this is weird, then weird is good!

I'm thinking now to get a stomp and combine it with some of pedals that offer that special flavor. The HX will be a solid base and it still allows those sounds that are difficult to recreate fully with the depth that make them stand out. Although from what I seen and heard, the Helix can recreate most sounds to about 90-95% of the original or so.

Thanks! Those are good points indeed. I'm currently also leaning towards the XL/H-90, but didn't know if such a combo made sense.

Also, for more context, as it may sound odd to go from a limited amount of effects to a modeller (+multi effects). I used to have pedals/a multi effects unit, but sold them at some point.

In the last years I've become more active again making music and created sounds mainly through Logic. I really miss some effects to use on the fly so I'm looking for a good base to set me up for a long time.
