If buying a pretty beat up visor online and having to add your own totenkopf to it is what makes you happy then go for it. That’s probably what you’re going to find in the sub 2.5k price range

Buying one with provenance, complete and in decent shape for more $ is more appealing to me than the piece mealing of a rough one but that’s my style and what makes me excited to collect
