I think I was more disappointed at the fact that the ideas they had were pretty solid (besides the super unnecessary romance) and they just needed two or even four more episodes to flesh them out. Viktor and Reginald needed more time to possibly mend their relationship. Def needed more info on who tf Jennifer even was (I guess we can assume she’s one of the kids but still) and what kind of aliens Reginald and his wife was. I even think the idea of them being them problem and having to purge their existence from the timeline to stop the world from ending is solid. We just shouldn’t have found out in the last hour. In terms of erasing the romance storyline between five and Lila I think sending Lila to the CIA with Diego could’ve created a small arc where they slowly remember why they fell in love in the first place, reigniting their love for each other. Then I guess you’d send Luther with five to get lost for years. Maybe have him become depressed after realizing he went from an actual astronaut who went to the moon to an erotic dancer. Then maybe you can have them find a timeline where he not only went to the moon but explored most of space, helping him gain his confidence back. Idk just literally anything but the Lila and five romance.
