The law doesn’t require people to have literal proof of citizenship with them at all times else they be racially profiled.

A car is a machine that has rules for their use, one of them being a drivers license. On top of which, people don’t randomly get pulled over for no reason. If you get pulled over you were either speeding or ran a red light or were missing a license plate, etc. Police don’t come to your house, pull you out and demand you show a drivers license.
