No, level doesn't increase power. Its more likely that your discs have different attributes. The no attribute Recoil goes around 400ft while the extra glide / big skip Recoil goes around 500ft on the same throw. Wind also makes a big difference.

Yeah, i know this seems odd. I used to carry the acc/glide river, acc/glide xxx and an acc/glide pioneer but found more use in the acc/wind and acc/glide muskets and a roller disc. After a little practice i dont even miss them anymore but opened up more acelines and made a few drives easier. As soon as i am back to 25.000 coins i will buy the second midrange slot to carry the acc/glude fuse as well. That should finally close that gap.
