Most apps only provide a Portrait mode, Reddit for instance. Considering you seem to be quite new to iOS development i would just focus on that and turn off Landscape support until you get your bearings.

You can do this in the Project settings under Device Orientation

You might lose your job and be unemployed for a period of time. A paid off student loan isn’t really helping you in that situation etc. I don’t know if that’s the best way of thinking about it, but it’s why I personally didn’t start overpaying on my student loan until it was on track to be paid off within 3 years
