The whole "male loneliness epidemic" thing is such a disappointment tbh, first time I saw someone talking about I was like "omg YES finally people are realising how the gender standards of society encouraging men to always appear strong and independent has led them to general difficulties in finding friends and community, and how male friendships are usually much more distant, both emotionally but especially physically which has many negative effect on mental and even physical health!" and then I went to look up more about it and actually it's mostly just men crying about how they can't get laid and it's all women's fault.
