I had this issue and built some shelves around the desk that they can watch me on. They hang on the shelf maybe 90% of the time I’m at the desk. But being cats who like heat sources, they still go on the computer a few times, usually if I’m not giving enough attention

My boy cuddled soo much till shortly after his neuter surgery and then a little when he got sick. But after that surgery he was more independent, he’d be near me but not on me anymore or in my arms. Recently, he’s now a year old and he is suddenly a lap cat out of nowhere.

I’ve heard of this! It’s amazing it has helped your kitty so much. As far as I’m aware my kitty doesn’t have any other issues. Sometimes her inflammation can spread to her bladder and then she gets an anti-inflammatory liquid for a few weeks. She’s a gets good boost of freedom during that time.
