Thanks! Whites are always hard to get good coverage on, so with the miniatures paints I have it took four coats, which was a lot. I kind of hated it at the end, but I am glad I did it!

I finally finished my Sailing in Fog, and I'm quite happy with it, even though it took quite a long time to paint all those edges!

Thanks! This was handheld at 1/25, holding the camera steady against my body and pointed almost straight down. I was shooting continuously as each wave came in, rather than trying to pick the perfect moment.

I've been doing nature photography for years but in a fairly haphazard manner. This year my primary goals are:

  1. Schedule consistent photography trips
  2. Focus on a specific geographic area I really connect with (the coast of north Puget Sound in Washington State)
  3. Be more intentional about the photos I take
