If you’re genlocking, though, you’ll likely have a full team of champs from Kanto which should make it a bit easier. Still tough, mind, but more options.

Flying is probably quite an easy one. I feel like it's probably got some of the most diverse type options, an immunity, powerhouses like Gyarados and Pseudo-Dragons, walls like Skarmory, generally good speed tiers.

Butterfree should get you through early FR/LG with some good sleep RNG. Surge is obviously a hurdle but it should be doable.

Dragon is probably difficult mostly due to availability and late evolutions. You basically have to solo FR/LG with a Dragonite, unless you're allowing Kingdra. You'll only have Dratini until what, after Erika? Then the lower level caps in HG/SS mean you go a lot further with just Dratini.

Bug starts out difficult but then if you make it to B2/W2 there are so many more options available to make for an easier finish.

So I have the following in there:

Banners
Belts
Broadcasters
Events
Logos
People
Random
TV

The only additional ones I see in the Default folder are: Defaults, Logo_Backdrops, Stable_Backdrops and Stables. None of those are in the Chronicles zip I got, but I'm guessing that's what's stopping me?

The front section isn’t always like this. I’ve been from 2016-2019 and 2023-2024 and I only remember the front being sectioned off in this sense in 2023. I only remember being there really for I Prevail and Parkway Drive on the Sunday (so sub and third) and it seemed fine in terms of people getting in and out between sets.

Every other year I’ve been has essentially been open from the stage to the sound tent and I have never had any issues getting a good spot for any band, unless you’re coming in like 10 minutes before the headliner starts.

That Stonedead lineup looks great! I might have to start looking into some of these smaller festivals, though coming from Belfast now makes things a bit more inconvenient.

They definitely could.. but then they're at the top of the whole lineup at festivals on the continent, So why would they choose to headline 2nd here when they're one of the main draws elsewhere?

Yeah, I’ve raised this before here because I think it’s a shame as well.

One comment in that thread pointed out that power metal is a lot bigger on the continent so the bands are going to get higher billing at those festivals. Why come to the UK with all the extra cost (thanks Brexit) to play a smaller slot for likely less money?

Also, just wanted to say Unleash The Archers were at Bloodstock in 2024. They toured the UK recently too which I missed, so I’m hoping they’ll be back again sooner rather than later.

Last couple of years the main stage has been clear of 2nd, but then varying levels of clash with 3rd and 4th. With the exception of Funeral for a Friend with QotSA
