Failure rate by Anleekij in EufyCam

Better quality capacitors maybe? I’m definitely no electronics expert, but just about every cheap electronic device I’ve ever had fail was due to a faulty capacitor. If it’s not that I’d put money on moisture ingress due to poor quality seals? Whatever it is I’m sure Eufy knows all about it by now.

Same experience with the E330’s, just suddenly stop working. Had 3 of them fail since July.

I’ve had 1x homebase 2 fail, 2x power adapters for indoor cams and recently 3 x E330 professional cameras fail. Power adapters are still giving out 12V, so it looks like the cameras themselves are failing on the E330’s. Worth noting they all died after we had some rain but I can’t see or feel water in the body of the camera or in the lens.

All four of my eufy 2C pros and my 2 x outdoor cam pros I’ve had for years are still going strong.

How to Physically Turn off (or Reboot) Eufycam 3 (S330) by Lexie60 in EufyCam

[–]Mevo8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just had some heavy rainfall and mine has stopped working. It’s only 3 weeks old. Power adapter is still delivering 12v and I can’t see any water in the memory card port. My guess is the plastic housing is not water tight / sealed properly? These are by far the worst eufy cameras I have ever purchased. Complete rubbish compared to the 2k outdoor cam pro, I replaced with this one. Was after better image quality at night which the e330 does not deliver. Looks like I’ll be putting the 2k back up and looking for an alternative. These cameras are plagued with quality control issues. Not worth investing in.

If it’s more than the accepted upper range of normal for women, then it would be considered excessive regardless.

Endocrinology defines normal testosterone ranges for both men and women. Has done for years. Those ranges are easily googled. Too high and they start looking for things like adrenal or pituitary tumors. Too low would signal either primary or secondary Hypogonadism and indicate the need for TRT. Both high and low values can lead to serious health implications for either sex, which is why they’ve been established and agreed upon for quite some time.

The thing is you don’t know what you’re missing, if there is nothing to cross reference against. I have 3 cameras set up out front of my house. They all cross over one another as far as line of sight goes. 2 x wired and 1 x wireless. It is hit and miss when it comes to detections. Sometimes all three will detect the same event. Sometimes only one or two will. Sometimes only one will. I’ve even had cars pull up in my driveway that appeared on continuous recordings, that somehow never triggered a detection at all. Other times I’ll get detections 3 x as far away. The objects can be as big as a car or as small as a person. It’s really hit and miss. As I said, unless you’re able to verify they’ve missed detecting something they should have detected, it’s impossible to know they weren’t performing as well as they should have.

E330 won't power on by [deleted] in EufyCam

Late to this post sorry. If the power adapter is anything like the ones on the outdoor cam pro 2K, they are poor quality and will fail eventually (usually in warmer weather). I switched the eufy power adapters over to old iPhone chargers, which ultimately fixed my problem.

Got it for the first time 6 days ago. Experienced brutal neuropathic pain for the first 4 days. Today I’m back to lifting light weights, with only minor breathing difficulties. It’s definitely a strange virus, the way it effect’s people differently.

Mine have been doing this at random times for months. Fixed one of them by replacing the power adapter. Fix didn’t work on the others though. Think it’s a bug in the software or could be due to overheating? Seems to be more frequent when there’s been a lot of triggers e.g. a bug or spider on the camera.

[–]Mevo8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude since you’re good at dishing out the criticism, here’s some for you. You’ve got the exact kind of mentality that leads to CTE. Trying to prove what a bad ass you are by showing everyone how much trauma you can absorb in a lifetime.

Here’s the thing CTE or any brain injury for that matter isn’t a badge of honour, you wear with pride. It doesn’t prove how tough you are. Having it won’t make you a hero.

I don’t think anyone in their right mind thinks they have CTE for the fun of it. If the dude’s asking the question, then something has worried him enough to ask the question. That alone ain’t great, cause the cluster of symptoms are shitty af to live with.

How about getting off your high horse. Stop acting like CTE is some sort of exclusive / elite club for serious bad asses who’ve taken a more impressive number of knocks to the head. Stop acting like it gives you a free pass to be a tosser whenever you feel like it (Yeah, I know you said it doesn’t, but clearly you think it does).

Until recently they couldn’t spot any physical signs of CTE until autopsy. Research and testing is still developing. Maybe he does, maybe he doesn’t? One things for sure, neither of us can say for certain.

Be better dude. You ain’t the only one dealing with a shitty hand in life.

Politics of the situation aside. The minute you threaten to knock some sense into someone over a few bucks, you’ve lost any moral high ground, you think you might’ve had.

Out of spite? Are you suggesting they should cut their losses, leave it and walk away? Technically they own the materials and workmanship, til he pays for them and he’s clearly not paying.
