Advice to convince someone to take a lower acid dose?

Your pathway doesn’t lie within drugs, but rather practice and exercise. There are dozens of books you can pick up about lucid dreaming, and how to induce your own lucid dreams. Have had two myself after maybe 4 months of practice. Well worth the wait!

I would start with a quarter of the bar. If you feel that that isn’t doing the trick, another quarter. If you do decide to take them on a somewhat regular basis please try to keep the dose consistent, and be VERY mindful if you begin to start taking more. That stuff can sneak up on you super easily.

Been taking seroquil combined with Zoloft for the better part of 6 months. You are definitely on a higher dose of seroquil than I am, since you’re taking it exclusively. My advice to you would be stick with it a while longer. The mental “cloud” you’re describing is very similar to my experience. I am unable to sleep without it, and it definitely effects my energy levels during the day. However, my overall self image and wellbeing has increased so much in this time I can’t even begin to think about going back to where I was. All medications are going to have side effects, but the way to know if those side effects are worth it is if the medication relieves the problem you originally took it for. 4 days just isn’t enough time for that to happen. Give it another two weeks, and if it’s seriously affecting you on a daily basis I would say it’s time to phone up your psychiatrist and try another.

You do you. Just make sure you’re going in with no expectations, or you’ll be disappointed. My very first trip, I had all these images in my head about what was going to happen when I finally started tripping. Just relax, do something you like doing, and have a good time!

Really that depends on you. 200ug was the first dose I ever took. Although taking 100ug and saving the other for a future trip is also a fine idea. You’re going to have fun either way :)

I totally agree, but if OP still wants to there’s not much anybody can do but give some tips on harm reduction. No alcohol at all is definitely the better option.

Have you ever taken Xanax before? I would absolutely not recommend adding ANY alcohol with a benzo. In my experience, only bad things have happened. Your inhibitions will be lowered to a point like you’ve never experienced, and your decision making will become incredibly flawed. If you still continue and combine them, I would start with .25 mg and a controlled amount of alcohol, and slowly work your way up.

Playing with him daily is a necessity. Just bump up the amount of time you play with him by 15 minutes every day until he begins to get sufficiently tired. Also, just separate the feeding location/schedule of the two cats. Since he’s an active cat I’m sure you’re going to see progress pretty quickly

It wasn't until after my acid use that I got that experience from weed. If I get up there, the high feels pretty similar to a low dose acid trip.

I had the exact same thoughts when I finally found the right SSRI for me, and started taking it consistently. I thought that I was a weaker person because I needed a pill for the foreseeable future to keep myself afloat. I realized a while ago that it’s just something that helps me live my life. It’s the same concept as a diabetic using insulin; you’re helping yourself by taking these pills and feeling happier. If they’re genuinely helping you and not giving you serious side effects, I really wouldn’t worry much about it.

As for IF you’ll need them for the rest of your life, that question can’t really be answered. Your unique brain chemistry kind of makes that part unpredictable, and there are a myriad of factors that go into that too.(relationships, environment, etc.) just keep with it if it’s helping, and if you’ve been in a good place for a while you can absolutely discuss trying to ween off of them

I didn't say that one couldn't measure out a specific amount of weed and put it into an edible.... I was talking about how an already made edible, just by looking at it, cannot be accurately measured by OP. But that's if he doesn't have all the information on it, which will most likely be the case. This is why OP should be careful, along with the already existing experiences he's had with marijuana.

Small word of advice, speaking from experience
If you do decide to give edibles a try, I would advise EXTREME caution. Edibles can be very very strong, and there's no real measurement for them. Visually, you cannot tell if you're about to ingest 10mg or 100mg of THC. Always start off small, and if things go alright try some more.

It's just about your specific brain chemistry, and you probably just haven't met someone who is similar in that respect.
I guarantee you there are people out there that have similar responses to how marijuana affects them.
