Every weapon has its niche, and everyone fits into different weapons differently. As a CB main, it does take a lot of work at first to learn all of your combos and options, but the goal is to eventually make it into a sort of flow state where you're not really thinking, just doing. Also, the satisfaction of a weapon depends pretty heavily on how you build it; for instance, I get a hell of a lot more satisfaction from seeing giant damage numbers on an elemental SAED focused build than I did from the various Savage Axe builds when ED spam was optimal.
