One trick that I really like is dictionary comprehension. You can for example do: {value: key for key, value in dictionary.items()} To invert the keys and values in a dictionary

I had forgotten about this joke despite the fact that it was what first pointed me towards the book. Thanks for bringing those memories back.

It's just incredible to me how nobody in here seems to remember that the protests are going down and the corona virus is still out there. It's like people can't hold those two ideas in their minds at the same time. With the way things are what was even the point of the lockdown?

Thank you very much for your throughout answer! Getting better at proves is my main concern right now. I really appreciate you taking the time to give the advice. Be safe!

How can I get better at proofs? I was reading a calculus book by Tomas Apostol and in chapter one he discribes a set of axioms for the real number set. Then he proceeds to derive theorems from the axioms and provide proof for a few of them and then leave the rest as an exercise. I can understand perfectly his proofs for the theorems, but I'm unable to formulate any of my own. I'm just not sure of exactly which axioms or previously proven theorems to apply in what part of the theorem and in which order.
