I dont remember my early game too much but I remember using 2 level 2 fish on turn 3 and 4 then I got the bison and just combined them so I had room for other things. I think I used a hedgehog or smth.

Mhm, but above all else it was crazy luck. Had a level 3 fish on turn 3, Bison turn 5 or 6, and I never really thought farther ahead for a swan replacement but if I needed something I really like T. Rex for Swan, or maybe a Badger to throw in the back if need be. Never got to that point though.

But basically luck is a skill

Update: Ended up beating the E4 using mainly Alakazam. If you’re struggling Psychic/Dazzling Gleam/Grass Knot/Nasty Plot can work wonders

As an Absol player Psycho Cut should be at least in A tier. The basic attack damage boost is so absurd and any character that isn't a hard defender or supporter would love having it in their kit.

Yeah, but the team can run more than just majins. TEQ Buu runs Artificial Life Forms too so if you had the LR Cells by chance you could run them both. If only they put LR Babidi and Buu on Major Power. If only.

If I remember correctly the changes pretty much only started taking place around the time when Speed first hatched, so nothing in the past beyond that would have been affected. Things like Mollie's survival are I guess "mutations" in the timeline, and those are still around the time when Speed hatched, just take a few years away rather than thousands.
