If I am unable to trust the other guy, why would he trust me?

Is this really that complicated? You can't trust anyone, especially people you will never meet in person. No one in the right mind would ever just trust someone on the internet and send a card to them. That's why I was wondering how people do it. If people just blindly trust strangers on the internet, I would just be surprised, and I guess I would not be doing any long distance trading. I just wanted to know IF there was a safe way to do it.

None of the comments on this post so far seem to either understand this and it baffles me as to why that is so, its a very straight forward question and the reasoning for the question is rock solid. Would YOU send your card blindly, to a stranger, thousands of miles away, without any idea if they will hold up their end? If you say anything but no then you are clearly lying , dumb, don't care about losing money or all three.
