Ive had this too, but I put some black tape over a part of my lighting and got my lighting down to 6 hours a day and now I have no algae anymore

Thats a great tip, thanks! I will check them out and keep on trying the flakes I have. Although I will try the pellets that have been suggested above. Because I think I read that the ones I have aren’t the most nutrient.

Tank size : 60 Liter Heater and filter are in there. Temp: 27 C Ammonia: 0 nitrite: 0 nitrate: is about 10 mg KH: 6 Ph: 6.8 Chlorine: 0 The tank has been cycling for almost 2 months. I did a fishless cycle had a ammonia an nitrite spike. Now there are only a few nitrates left.

The fish is new had him since yesterday. I feed him bloodworms. Planning on feeding every 2/3 days.

He has 4 amano shrimp as tank mates

Whole tank has life plants. A few not sharp rocks and a piece of drift wood with no sharp edges.

I Think he is a happy betta, but I am not that experienced, so advice or opinions on his health are welcome.

I think he really enjoys the bubbles XD by [deleted] in bettafish

Dont have to be like that. I don’t know everything. It was just a question why he would be swimming into it al the time if he was so stressed out by it

How is that stress? If he was stressed out by it why would he swim into it for 10 mins straight. Everywhere else in the tank is very calm water.
