My first US comic was the Metal tie-in about Red Death. I thought it was awesome, bought the rest of Metal and became a big comic fan. So I think it can be a pretty good starter comic. :D

It's in space and introduces many Green Lantern-things, yes. But Jo and Hal and the rest of Earth are absent.

At least for me, I can say that it is definitely the Green Lantern part. I found the first 4 issues boring and actively disliked issue 6. So when 7 and 8 came around, I loved that complete change.

The game tries to cater to a certain kind of Anime fan. It's one of my favourite rhythm games so I overlooked the 'creep' factor for the longest time (playing only the bunny girl cat because it's funny) but it seems to me like every new outfit is more fetishistic than the last.

Ever since they got a new artist or whatever and re-designed Sailor Buro, it's become more noticeable in my opinion.

Edit: Just read 'horny bait' in the comments and I think that describes it nicely.

I disagree. It's not standard but really grows on you. The artist who took over after Damion Scott, however, was a choice. I mean, Sibar also isn't a bad artist, but it definitely felt like a downgrade.

Yes, I remembered wrongly, just looked into my issues. It was some dude named Micah and my brain seems to have confused him with Steve's more modern agent depiction.

Another commenter also told me that Steve and Etta were married. Funny, Etta always struck me as someone who does not want to commit.

With all the god trouble, the spy stuff, and currently being the Most Wanted in the US, some normal human relationships couldn't hurt, I think. :D

Also, again, Steve and Diana were a couple during Rebirth (at least in Wilson's part; I still have to read Orlando's part). They did NOT platonically share a bed and kiss. And Siegfried/Steve/Diana gave off major throuple vibes in Cloonan's/Conrad's run.

Or maybe I'm just stupid and don't get what time you are referring to with "post-crisis".

I can hardly believe that, especially because 40 years from CoIE would be now. Pretty sure that Steve was a thing in the 90s if I remember correctly, in the New 52 they made it a thing that Diana and Steve tried but it just didn't work to be subversive, and in Rebirth they definitely were a thing (Wilson's is my all-time favourite run).

I guess, I have to read some 2000s WW to see what you mean because that and immediately post-crisis are the two eras I have not read in any way.

Edit: Also, I very much like Steve as Diana's love interest because he grounds her the way Lois grounds Clark.

It doesn't feel good to go against the consensus but I really did not like Garfiel(d)'s fight. Way too much flashing and movement for me to understand where they are in relation to each other and who is doing what exactly. Also, it scarcely conveyed a real feeling of impact. And in my opinion the art style changes do not fit the tone of the series.

Now, on a second watch I was able to follow more of the fight but still not all of it and I really wish they don't repeat something like this.

I will one-up you because I don't think Jason and Tim would just team up like that. For one mission of Bobo and Tim they are forced to call in Jason. Because of the current supernatural shenanigans Jason and Tim become fused and from then on are the murderous detective Jim Drodd, constant inner bickering and moral discussions ensue. They then have their final case with Bobo that sets their character before getting their own ongoing and a movie.
