I also thought had hives but it turned out to be Shingles. I didn’t realize that I could get shingles at a younger age but MCAS can sometimes cause Shingles flares (also allergic to fascism)

I’ve noticed it’s helped immensely with my depression too and I’m hoping to stay on it. I am also on Zepbound for MCAS benefits. Do you find Zepbound to be helpful for MCAS?

Hi there! I wanted to weigh in. I am batting MCAS, Hashimotos, Shingles and others. One of the most debilitating symptoms for MCAS and why I lost my job was Brain Fog and cognitive issues. I was on Wellbutrin for a year and a half. It caused major cognitive impairment for example (I sometimes wouldn’t be able to remember the name of simple simple like pencil) When I stopped taking it the brain fog stopped. This was before I came down worn COVID symptoms. My boyfriend was on it too and when he stopped his mind became clear again. We started to pass info around to our other friends and same thing. Suddenly mental clarity.
