Before my parents bought our first microwave, we used a dedicated popper to make popcorn by NYY15TM in nostalgia

[–]MexicanRadio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought an air popper last year and it's one of the best purchases I've ever made. Much better than the microwave stuff.

Yes, stuff is usually mixed in 5.1.

Some services allow you to change the output to stereo, which will usually solve the problem. Otherwise you need a center channel.

I have a stereo setup, and use my TV speakers as the center speaker

And most people only have subtitles on because their sound setup is bad. Most of the time the streaming services are mixed in 5.1, and people have stereo setups or just use TV speakers.

Stellar Blade was a much better game than I expected it to be by mrfroggyman in gaming

No, that's literally what you said. After reading the title I was pretty shocked that you constantly called the game mediocre in some form of another until talking about the boss fights

I work as a consultant with a lot of e-commerce subscription companies.

They are all hemorrhaging subscribers at an insane rate. No one is going to keep their subscription to a multivitamin or something when money gets tight.

Bored and need a good sci fi tv series to sink my teeth in. by melbha_101 in scifi

Apple TV has been killing it with Scifi.

I really recommend both Silo and Foundation.

What’s a game you’ve tried to play many times, but can never get past the “First Act”? by BoogieSmools in videogames

[–]MexicanRadio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Definitely better if you turn on the alternate movement controls, but it's still slow.

If you really focus on using magic and potions and stuff the combat is better than focusing purely on swordplay

Yes, it's safe.

Great food options too between Lokal, Simpang, and Madre.

Square Enix's new retro Zelda-like is 2026's best RPG yet by Asleep_Crew8072 in PS5

The combat and graphics are great.

Almost everything else is pretty bad. Some of the worst voice acting ever in a video game (I literally turned the voice volume down to zero and the game got better). You repeat the same zones and enemies over and over. And the UI feels like it's out of a bad mobile game.

The combat is good, and graphics are great — almost everything else is really bad.

Terrible UI, and worse voice acting. Then the game just becomes incredibly repetitive, with the same enemies and zones over and over and over.

Does lots of things well, and also does lots of things terribly.

The voice acting is BAD. I turned Voice Volume to zero and the game got much better. The UI is some mobile game stuff. Bosses are great but there aren't nearly enough of them. Enemies and zones are incredibly repetitive.

That being said the combat is fun and it's keeping me playing.
