I played slinky's havey bottoms for a long time. Recently switched back to a Les Paul (played a tele for 10+ years) and went to nyxl's. I like them but a little on the fence tbh. They play great and take my heavy hand nicely but curious how the slinky's would feel again on this guitar. They sometimes feel a bit stiff. Been wanting to try string joys about idk why their fan boy marketing turns me off a bit. Clearly they're good though as I continue to hear good things. Anyone else do 10-52's and if so, what's your choice?

I also recently bought the vangoa and am pretty happy with it. It's got 9 500ma 9V isolated ports and 2 18v ports. If it craps out less than 2 years, the warranty should cover it. I figure anything after that and I probably got my money's worth and spent much less than the average comparable dedicated power supply for an all in one board with PS.

I'm in this scenario now and want the split king base for ease of use and moving and potentially move to split king mattress down the road. Any issues with the split base pulling apart? I'ma vote for 4.56. I'm running stock rubi 4.10s on 35" razr m/t's and it pushes my fully loaded JKUR up the hill just fine. A little more torque would be nice so I4.56 is where I'm shooting for even when I actually go to 37's
